Right of Withdrawal and Return Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal
Under Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of February 14, consumers have the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days without having to provide any reason.
The period for exercising the right of rescission begins on:
- From the day the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer (excluding the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods;
- For orders consisting of multiple items delivered separately, the date on which you receive the last item.
2. Exercising the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must communicate their decision through an unambiguous statement, for example by email to info@lybeing.com.
The notification must be made before the 14-day period expires.
3. Return Policy
For a return to be accepted, the products must meet all of the following conditions:
- They must be sealed, unopened, and unused;
- be in perfect condition;
- They must be returned in their original packaging, with all components included;
- They must not show any signs of use, excessive handling, or damage.
4. Return Costs
The customer is responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods, unless otherwise specified.
5. Refunds
In the event of a valid termination of the contract, the customer will be refunded all payments made for the returned products, including the shipping costs associated with the standard shipping method offered.
The refund will be issued without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days after the date on which LYB is notified of the decision to cancel.
LYB reserves the right to withhold the refund until:
- Actual receipt of the returned goods; or
- Submission of proof of shipment by the customer.
The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise expressly agreed.
6. Depreciation of Assets
The customer is responsible for any depreciation of the goods resulting from handling that goes beyond what is necessary to verify their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
7. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Under applicable law, the right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to the following cases:
- Supply of goods that are likely to spoil or expire quickly;
- Supply of sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened after delivery;
- Custom products or products manufactured to customer specifications;
- Other cases provided for in the applicable legislation.
8. Subscriptions
In the case of purchasing products through a subscription model:
- The customer may cancel the subscription at any time before the next billing cycle;
- Cancellation prevents future charges, but does not affect orders that have already been processed or shipped;
- Once the order has been shipped, the general return rules set forth in this policy apply.
9. Damaged Products or Incorrect Shipment
If the customer receives a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, they must contact LYB within 48 hours of receipt by email info@lybeing.com, attaching photographic evidence.
In such cases, after verification, LYB will cover the return shipping costs and will issue a replacement or refund, as applicable.
10. Changes to the Policy
LYB reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time; any changes will be posted on this page.
